The Battery Brass Band is Charleston’s Premier ‘Street Beat’ style brass band. The Band draws influences from New Orleans brass bands and the musical lineage of Charleston, forming a unique style all to their own.  The Battery Brass Band experience is ‘a little bit Mardi Gras, a little bit Funky, and a little bit Island Vibes.’  The band is made up of local music educators and performers, and members of popular local bands including The Charleston Jazz Orchestra!
